Mulberry Corn Beeswax Candle

Sale price$27.00

Heirloom corn, jewel-toned, and a simple low-tox swap.

Inspired by heirloom corn, this mulberry corn beeswax candle is hand-poured in small batches in Los Angeles from 100% pure beeswax (no paraffin), with a cotton wick. Beeswax gives it a warm golden glow and a subtle honey aroma. Its deep mulberry color, somewhere between ripe berry and red wine, suits a farmers-market fall table.

Tuck it into a harvest centerpiece with dried leaves and pears, or pair it with the Blackberry Corn Beeswax Candle for a mixed heirloom bunch.

Material: 100% pure beeswax, cotton wick
Size: 7 × 1.5 × 1.5 in / 17.8 × 3.8 × 3.8 cm
Includes: 1 mulberry corn-shaped beeswax candle

General candle safety: burn on a heat-resistant dish and never leave a burning candle unattended.

What's Included

1 handmade mulberry corn beeswax candle.

Why We Love It

That deep purple-red is exactly the kind of color you find on a cob of heirloom corn. It is 100% pure beeswax with no paraffin and a soft honey glow, and it is handmade in Los Angeles, so it supports local California makers the same way our produce supports Southern California farms.

A Note About Seasonality

Heirloom corn is typically a summer harvest in Southern California, and those colorful cobs become a fall icon on Thanksgiving tables. The candle, of course, is in season year-round.

A Note From Ema

I am a big believer in swaps that do not feel like giving anything up, and pure beeswax instead of paraffin is an easy one. This is the corn I would set out with burgundy napkins and a bowl of pears.

Perfect For

Thanksgiving tables, harvest centerpieces, fall entryways, holiday dinners, low-tox homes, hostess gifts, and anyone who thinks corn should come in more colors than yellow.

Care Instructions

General candle care: trim the wick to 1/4 in before each burn, burn on a heat-resistant dish, keep away from drafts, children and pets, and never leave a burning candle unattended.

Storage Information

Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sun.

Meet The Maker

Happy Organics was born from three generations of beekeeping, a tradition that stretches back to Michoacán, México, and continues on the family's farm in Merced, California. Inspired by the family's roots in farming, their realistic fruit and vegetable candles are hand-poured in small batches and handmade in Los Angeles. You may have spotted them at Anthropologie and MoMA.
