Refund policy

Returns, Refunds & Quality Concerns

Due to the perishable nature of our produce, eggs, flowers and other fresh market goods, all Market Mama purchases are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.

Market Mama is a small, independently operated business. We source and pack orders specifically for each delivery day, often working with highly perishable products that cannot be restocked or resold once they have been selected for an order. Our final-sale policy helps us reduce waste, support the farmers and growers we purchase from, and keep the business sustainable.

We take great care when selecting, packing and delivering every order. If an item arrives damaged, spoiled, missing or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us at hello@lamarketmama.com within 24 hours of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the affected item

Eligible concerns will be reviewed individually. Depending on the circumstances, Market Mama may provide a replacement, store credit or refund for the affected item.

Seasonal produce, flowers, eggs and other farm goods naturally vary in size, shape, color, ripeness and appearance. Reasonable natural variation and seasonal substitutions are not considered defects.

Market Mama is not responsible for spoilage, heat exposure, theft or damage that occurs after an order has been successfully delivered, including when an order is not brought inside promptly.

Missing or Incorrect Items

Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery if an item is missing or if you received an incorrect product.

Include your order number and a description of the issue. We may provide a replacement, store credit or refund for the affected item, depending on the circumstances.

Cancellations and Order Changes

Orders may be changed or cancelled only before sourcing and preparation have begun.

Once an order has entered preparation, it cannot be cancelled because products are gathered and purchased specifically for that delivery.

Please contact hello@lamarketmama.com as soon as possible if you need assistance with an upcoming order. We cannot guarantee that a cancellation or change can be accommodated.

Delivery-Related Issues

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, apartment or unit number, gate code, telephone number and any necessary access instructions.

Unless other instructions are provided at checkout, orders may be left in the shade near the front door whenever reasonably possible. If that location is unavailable, inaccessible or unsafe, our driver will select the safest shaded area reasonably accessible.

Because orders may contain fresh and perishable goods, we recommend bringing deliveries inside as soon as possible.

Market Mama is not responsible for:

  • Spoilage or heat exposure after successful delivery
  • Theft after successful delivery
  • Damage caused by delayed retrieval
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information
  • Inaccessible buildings, gates or delivery locations
  • Orders left according to the instructions provided by the customer

Additional delivery charges may apply if an order must be redelivered because the delivery address or access information provided was incomplete or incorrect.

Sale Items and Gift Cards

Sale items are final sale unless they arrive damaged, spoiled, missing or incorrect.

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law.

Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method.

Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Refunds, replacements and store credits are issued at Market Mama’s discretion after the concern has been reviewed.
