Sourced from a rotating group of trusted Southern California egg farmers, our local heirloom eggs are selected each week based on freshness, quality, and availability. Current farm partners include Lily’s Eggs, Nonna’s Eggs, and Bellacienda Farms.

Each carton contains a naturally beautiful assortment of eggs in shades that may include cream, brown, blue, white, and olive. Shell colors and sizes will vary depending on the farm and flock available that week.

Unlike most grocery store eggs, these farm-fresh eggs are left unwashed, preserving their natural protective coating known as the bloom. This invisible layer helps protect the egg and allows it to remain in its most natural state.

Because we source directly from small Southern California egg producers, the exact farm included in your order may rotate. What does not change is our commitment to bringing you fresh, locally sourced eggs from farmers who care for their hens and prioritize quality over commercial scale.

Because these eggs retain their natural bloom, many people choose to store them on the countertop, a traditional practice used in many parts of the world.

If you choose to wash your eggs, we recommend refrigerating them afterward.

As with all eggs, we recommend handling and cooking them properly according to current food safety guidelines.
Meet The Farmer

We source our local heirloom eggs from a small rotation of trusted Southern California egg producers, including Lily’s Eggs, Nonna’s Eggs, and Bellacienda Farms. The farm included in your order will depend on seasonal production and availability that week.

Lily’s Eggs is a 25-acre pasture-raised farm in Fillmore, California, known for its heritage-breed hens and naturally colorful eggs.

Nonna’s Eggs is a small family egg producer serving Southern California.

Bellacienda Farms is a woman-owned California Certified Farm known for its fresh, free-range eggs and colorful selection of blue, brown, and white shells.

Working with several local egg farmers allows us to support more small producers while keeping a consistent supply of fresh, thoughtfully sourced eggs for homes across Los Angeles.

Because these eggs have not been heavily handled, you may occasionally notice a feather, a bit of straw, or natural markings on the shell. We see these as reminders that your eggs came from a working farm rather than a factory.
