Handmade in California in small batches from natural beeswax with no paraffin, this realistic garlic beeswax candle is unscented, with no synthetic fragrance competing with dinner. Its detailed sculptural shape looks right at home next to a braid of the real thing, and it comes from a local California maker, the same way we source our produce from Southern California farms.

A Note About Seasonality

Garlic is typically harvested in early summer in Southern California, then cured and enjoyed all year long. The candle, of course, is in season year-round.
A Note From Ema

Reading ingredient labels is second nature in my work as a holistic nutritionist, and I think candles deserve the same attention. This one keeps it simple: natural beeswax, no added fragrance, and a lot of personality.

Meet The Maker

Melisa Home is a one-person, small-batch candle studio that began in 2020 with a single candle in Ukraine, and is now being rebuilt in California. There's no factory: every candle is hand-poured individually, to order, in small batches, using molds from small independent makers and the maker's own finishing and color techniques. Her materials philosophy is simple: "No paraffin, no synthetics."
