Blackberry Corn Beeswax Candle

Sale price$27.00

A low-tox swap for the harvest table, in heirloom-corn black.

Inspired by heirloom corn, this blackberry corn beeswax candle is hand-poured in small batches in Los Angeles from 100% pure beeswax (no paraffin), with a cotton wick. Beeswax gives it a warm golden glow and a subtle honey aroma. The deep, near-black blackberry color looks right at home next to the squash and apples in a fall kitchen.

Lay it down the middle of the Thanksgiving table with gourds and greenery, or pair it with the Mulberry Corn Beeswax Candle for a mixed heirloom bunch.

Material: 100% pure beeswax, cotton wick
Size: 7 × 1.5 × 1.5 in / 17.8 × 3.8 × 3.8 cm

General candle safety: burn on a heat-resistant dish and never leave a burning candle unattended.

What's Included

1 handmade blackberry corn beeswax candle.

Why We Love It

Heirloom corn comes in incredible colors, and this near-black blackberry shade is the moodiest of the bunch. It is 100% pure beeswax with no paraffin and a soft honey glow, and it is handmade in Los Angeles, so it supports local California makers the same way our produce supports Southern California farms.

A Note About Seasonality

Heirloom corn is typically a summer harvest in Southern California, and those colorful cobs become a fall icon on Thanksgiving tables. The candle, of course, is in season year-round.

A Note From Ema

One of my favorite simple swaps at home is choosing pure beeswax over paraffin candles. I love that this one doubles as a showpiece, especially against a pale linen tablecloth with a few pumpkins around it.

Perfect For

Thanksgiving centerpieces, harvest tablescapes, fall mantels, low-tox homes, hostess gifts, stocking stuffers, and anyone who stops at the heirloom corn bin every October.

Care Instructions

General candle care: trim the wick to 1/4 in before each burn, burn on a heat-resistant dish, keep away from drafts, children and pets, and never leave a burning candle unattended.

Storage Information

Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sun.

Meet The Maker

Happy Organics was born from three generations of beekeeping, a tradition that stretches back to Michoacán, México, and continues on the family's farm in Merced, California. Inspired by the family's roots in farming, their realistic fruit and vegetable candles are hand-poured in small batches and handmade in Los Angeles. You may have spotted them at Anthropologie and MoMA.
